Tldr- 2 stars because its NOTHING like the picture advertised. Not the right color, ombre, or wave style. But with some work you can have a pretty decent wig- so its a good value for how cheap it is. Heres a picture of how it arrived, how much i had to thin out before cutting (blush brush for size reference) and how it turned out. So im bald which hasnt bugged me too much until a little kid mistook me as a skinhead. It broke my heart so i immediately ordered some fancy wigs- but i couldn't wait for 6 weeks. Thats why i bought this cheap amazon wig- because anythings gotta be better than nothing right? Well i looked at the pictures and reviews and i honestly got my hopes up. I was ready to SLAY. Nope. At least not the way it was. I took a "wtf" pic. Cried. Looked on youtube for help. THEN BRAD MONDO SHOWED UP LIKE AN ANGEL WITH A VIDEO ON HOW TO MAKE SYNTHETIC WIGS LOOK GOOD! I spent hours following his tutorial. I plucked a new part, steamed the roots, thinned it out, cut babyhairs, razored layers, texturized, cut about 3 inches off, and toned down the shine with dry shampoo. (I tried to paint the part to match my skin, but the wig was like "hell no" to that lol) For someone who has no idea what theyre doing, it took me HOURS. I started this around noon and didnt finish until 6pm. Its still a cheap wig- but its so much better than it was! The capline is still a little obvious so ill be rocking beanies over it. But all in all. I love it now and im so glad to have hair. I actually feel really cute!!
