I'm reviewing the Chrome filter. So far I've owned 2 in the past year, same model, same brand. On my first one it developed a hair line crack on the side and started leaking and was unusable. I owned that one about 6 months before that happened. My second one leaks around the top where you unscrew the cap to access the filter. It started leaking approximately 4 months after purchase. If you're looking for a filter that works fine for about 4 months give or take a month, then you have found a winner! But if you're looking for something that will last at least 2 years then keep looking. Your plastic clothes hangers are made from a better material. I don't remember having this kind of problem with the other pur filters like the white plastic one. Be warned, stay away from the Chrome filter. It's designed to break after a few months.
