I really liked these fig bars, but the nutritional labeling was always pretty suspect. Nature's Bakery lists a serving size as 1 bar, while a snack package called "Fig BAR" contains 2 servings, i.e. 2 fig barS...think 2 fig newton cookies - this is essentially what's in a "Fig Bar" snack package. I've been purchasing these bars in boxes of six and twelve snack packs for over a year and with this most recent Amazon purchase found that the recipe had changed. Nature's Bakery has increased the sugars, sodium, calorie count, fat calories, and total carbohydrates without changing the serving size. And, at least to me, seemingly decreased the fig filling while increasing the whole wheat crust. Perhaps they are trying to match the popularity of their other fruit bars, but this customer will now be looking elsewhere for a quick, pleasant snack. It's a big disappointment because I was really a fan.
