Everyone who has said good things about this rug, most definitely wrote the review within hours of owning this POS. It is indeed very beautiful until you start stepping on it. Save yourself the money and buy a nice synthetic carpet for wal-mart and use the rest to take your loved one to dinner. This carpet sucks. IT SHEDS EVERYWHERE!!!! IT NEVER STOPS SHEDDING!!! it will continue to shed after you've washed it. As a matter of a fact it looks like $*** in less than 3 months. Washing it is the worst experience you will ever have. It is extremely heavy when wet (and stinks really bad) Your hands are going to be covered in nasty fibers while washing it. It will clog the crap out of whatever drain you use. It will only stop shedding when all the fur has shed, and it's just bare thread. Save yourself the headache. It gets stuck to your socks, it gets stuck to your undies, inside your shoes. Its worst than herpes. I want to F***ing burn it. I just want to spread awareness of this carpet. If you don't care about my review and buy it anyway, then have fun with this masterpiece of S***. My girlfriend ignored the review about it being a pet and bought it anyway. If you bought it already, I guarantee you will have it in the garbage within 6 months.. I don't think anyone can ignore the mess it makes for longer than that. Unless you love living in an apt full of stupid carpet bunnies because you think its cute to have them stuck all over everything you own that isn't completely smooth. It even does this lovely thing where it gets tangled with my girlfriends long hair (hair she shed) and then it becomes somewhat of a dread-lock that you may drag for miles before you realize you have a blend of unattractive "natural" fibers. stuck to you. Seriously.. I wouldn't want this thing for free. If someone give you this as a gift, they really hate you and you should consider not talking to them anymore. Oh and did I mention that it that it is super slippery and you might fall and hurt yourself pretty bad. So if you do get stuck with this crap, make sure you either glue it to your floor, or use a anti-slip mat in conjunction with bracing it with something heavy. It does not stay on in place otherwise.
