We purchased the queen size foundation by Classic Brands via Amazon for our guest bedroom a couple months before we knew we were hosting company. At first it seemed fine but the second night of it being used, the wood slats cracked and broke in three different places forcing our guests to sleep lopsided for the duration of the night. This was unacceptable and embarrassing. When, after only two nights of sleeping on it, the soft wood gave out, I tried to get a refund only to find out it had a tiny return window and no exceptions are made for a bad or defective product. We immediately found a local store(in business for 35 yrs) who provided a quality constructed wood foundation with a 10 yr warranty for $148 instead of the almost $200 we paid through Amazon. Maybe we received a foundation made with a bad batch of wood, but they should make it right regardless. It has been a matter of two months of ownership, not years. For us, this is a bad product made with inferior wood and a terrible almost nonexistent return policy. Buyer beware! We religiously use Amazon due to their quality of products and good business nature, but this was the first time we were truly let down.
