I wrote a much different review but am editing and don't know how to remove my cat picture so pardon the irrelevance of it. After I left a good review I realized this mattress was made out of POLYURETHANE. WHY. the fda ruled this a very toxic chemical! It causes breathing ailments and asthma when it is used in bedding, for an infant this could prove fatal since SIDS is correlated with breathing ailments and these awful people have no right selling this product knowing infants are going to be sleeping in it. [...] It's a beautiful and sturdy basket but if you are going to buy please throw out the foam pad and replace with blankets instead!!
