1099 Recipients/Business Owners: If you need to file a schedule C then be aware that you will need to pay yet another hidden fee to Intuit [i.e. you will be forced to upgrade to the more expensive "premier" version given the "deluxe" version does not support schedule C filers...1 more change that Intuit attempts to quietly slip into the 2008 product in an effort to dupe customers. Intuit's strategy is clear: deceive customers until they are over invested and locked into using this year's product. TaxCut is far less expensive, offers an equally effective tax prep program and will transfer prior year return information prepared on turbotax. As important, why did Amazon DELETE several hundred negative reviews and consumer outrage over Intuit's deceptive practices? I guess Amazon has chosen the financial consideration gained from the Intuit relationship at the expense of Amazon customers and integrity of their own business. The evidence is indisputable, hundreds of 1 star ratings have been deleted by Amazon after receiving vendor pressure from Intuit.
