Non-sensical
Heirloom seeds here means open pollinated, as in you can save the seed from what you grow and plant it to get the same thing again. If you want to be sure of a supply of seeds then that is what you should do, but even so - most larger seeds have a shelf-life of 4-5 years and often much much longer. As a commercial grower I've had good reliable crops from seeds I bought in 5-7 years ago. No special storage, just on a shelf in my office. I've done this consistently with all kinds of seeds for many many years. I also, of course, save seed which improves the varieties I grow to be better adapted to my conditions. So here you are paying nearly $6 per tiny packet for very run-of-the-mill varieties when you could be just buying seeds from anywhere, put them on your shelf and get basically the same result. Or better, keep a continuous garden and refresh and (crucially) improve your seed supplies. I'm truly mystified as to why anyone would think this is a good value.
