This is the second DJI drone, this week, that I had to return!! Quality control is nonexistent with this company. This last one was returned because the USB port on the controller was broken...the first one was returned because of a defective controller....how the hell did these get out of the factory?? A word to the wise...if you are going to buy this thing...buy it from Amazon because customer relations at DJI is non-existent...and they want you to send back defective products, so that you can sit on your hands (while they have your money) and wait for them to "repair" your formerly new drone. What a pain in the ass this experience has been...both times! Wouldn't it be great if we had an American manufacturer as an alternative?? It appears that there currently are no drones priced at $1500 or less that are reliable, have good quality control and good customer service. No one should have to buy three or four of these things before they get one that actually works. Who knows, maybe all of this is par for the course in China. After my experience and after all I've read, it seems that the best that can be said about this product is....some of the others are worse!! No more DJI's for me....I'll wait until Fall and check out the new GoPro drone...... UPDATE.....I didn't wait for the Go Pro, I purchased an Autel Robotics for $899.00 here on Amazon and I couldn't be happier. It was great right out of the box and their customer service ( I had a question or two ) is based in America and my wait was no longer than 2 minutes at most. At $500 cheaper and with great build quality and customer service, who needs DJI??
