I ordered this product with high hopes considering all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Unfortunately the unit that I received was defective. One side of the device is bent outwards which results in a couple of problems: 1) The hinge on that side does not operate smoothly. Instead it hangs and creates resistance when moving the handle. 2) The piston rod is twisted as you can see in the photo. This causes the piston to catch on one side and effectively jam inside the device. As is, the product is not usable. When I went to request a replacement on Amazon I was surprised to find that the item is not eligible for return. Since the product is warrantied I've contacted the seller via email and we’ll see how they handle it. Other thoughts: 1) The crusher is constructed with heavy gauge steel and I would expect it to last for quite a while if it worked. 2) The handle has a thick rubber tube that rotates on a shaft. Should help with operation but diameter wise the handle is a bit on the small size. I would imagine that it could become uncomfortable after a period of long use. 3) The instructions come with a template for mounting the crusher. After the seller contacts me I’ll update this review and let you know how things turn out. 4/9/2019 Update: I sent an email to their customer service department back on 3/20/2019. There has been no response so I called the phone number on the packaging. The number goes to voice mail fairly quickly for someone named Charlie. There is no indication in the outgoing message that I have even reached the correct company. I left my contact information and a description of the problem. I’ll give them a few more days to get back to me. 8/25/2019 Update: After multiple attempts to contact the manufacturer I have given up. My rating is now reduced to one star for complete lack of customer service and I now own a $25 piece of scrap metal. Buyer beware!
