This carrier seemed to be working well for the first year or so I had it. My kitty is long and tall and needed a bigger carrier than most. She seemed to like it and even slept in it at times. However, when I recently shut the front door on her in order to keep her from bolting when the vet entered the room (her vet comes to the house), she got very upset and ended up with a cut on her nose. It seemed to me that the inside of a crate should be a safe place, but in feeling around inside I realized that those little peep and vent holes are ragged and sharp on the inside of the carrier. I consider this extremely shabby and unsafe workmanship and the carrier is going out for trash pickup tomorrow night.
