The pros: cats love it The cons: it is poorly designed or poorly constructed. What people are mistaking for the toy quickly draining batteries is just a poorly designed/constructed housing for the batteries. While shaking, the batteries can lose connection with the positive contact in the toy and thus the misunderstanding. Owners can fix this by just placing a bit of paper between the batteries and the panel that holds then in the toy. Update: changed to 1 star because even after ensuring batteries remained in touch with the contacts the toy still dies. I used a multimeter to verify that there is still power coming from the battery contacts after pushing the button but the toy still dies while running.
