2/28/13 I am a broke college student so this mattress was what I decided on after doing research on memory foam (I have bad allergies and I read about the downside to MF) I ordered my mattress on 2/23/13 and got an email from Chuck asking firmness preference. I went with a 6 because I didn't want to go too soft since I use my bed to sit and do my homework. I received the bed via FedEx in the morning on 2/27/13. The full size mattress weighed about 70lbs and was fine for two people to walk upstairs. It was really easy to unload and lay on our Ikea Malm frame. Like everyone else says, it was neat to watch it take shape. I ordered this to replace a sagging pillow top spring mattress. I rate my taste as easy to please, so this bed is perfect for me. I actually can't understand a negative review of this mattress. The 6 feels very soft but when you lay on it the latex foam contours to your body; so it also feels firm. I think negative reviews may be due to a more specific taste. First night I slept amazing. I will update because these reviews helped me make the tough decision of buying a pricey non-returnable item online 3/3/13 I have been sleeping on this mattress for a few days now. I have been sleeping on my back as well as on my side. It feels great. No more arm falling asleep during the night like on my old mattress. I have noticed that I have been a little sore from my body getting used to the mattress. I expected this from reading other reviews plus my old mattress was no longer supporting me at 5'7" 145lbs. The old mattress was wrecked! I look forward to sleeping on this mattress every night. I can't wait to upgrade to a larger bed in a few years so I can purchase another Dreamfoam. A Full for two plus a dog is definitely not ideal! 3/12/13 I wanted to give a quick update. I'm still in love with my new mattress. I had to switch comforters though due to feeling a bit warm but my old comforter is a different material that was trapping the heat. If you have any type of cotton comforter that can 'breathe' you will be fine. I sometimes wonder what a 7 would feel like but I am quite happy with a 6. I will be making another order once I move so I can upgrade to a King. I'm looking forward to that as well :) 2/23/14 Thought I'd do another update. The mattress is still doing well but it has started getting depressions from the where I sleep. I rotated the mattress and I could tell a big difference. My back was sore for a few days after I rotated it. I also have changed bed frames and it now sits on an ikea box frame and it work just fine. I actually recommend a box frame because it seems like it will hold up better than the Malm frame. Took it down to 4 stars due to it starting to have valleys after one year of use. 11/16/14 The valleys are definitely there. When I lay on my husbands side, I feel like I go straight down to the hard foam. I will be getting a new mattress in the next few months. I emailed DreamFoam to see what they recommend switching to (and hopefully they try and take care of me since their mattress did not last even 2 years) I am not sure if I will be purchasing from them again, it will depend on their response. I will update again once I have my plan.
