Okay, so I was given one of these as a gift. I was pretty excited about the concept, and have a large wall in my seweing room that wasn't doing anything else. So I opened the package, and immediately puked because of the smell. Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm sensitive to chemical smells - I break out in hives if I walk into a room with an open bottle of ammonia - but I didn't expect this to be a product that would have the problem. The quality of the product is poor, as well, not at all what I expect from Fons & Porter - they make so many awesome tools! After doing some research and a quick peek through my closet, I pulled a well-worn flannel sheet out, got the grommet tool out, and stretched the sheet from all four sides on the wall. Perfect! At any given time I have four table runners in progress, or two baby quilts.
