Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Ever feel like you're living in an alternate universe when shopping on Amazon? So many products with overwhelmingly positive reviews. Ya feel pretty confident, so you order said item — but the experience turns out to be more like ONE star worthy? Alas, so it was with these pens. Four black Sharpies arrived in a sandwich bag (in lieu of the typical retail packaging). All were dried out and the order was short two units. (Presentation alone left me with the image of someone strolling about the house, randomly collecting spent felt-tips and casually tossing them into a zip lock.) So annoying. Look, I realize this isn't a pricey purchase. But $7 here, $8 there...it adds up. (I've thrown out so much useless junk that I should have returned, but didn't because it was under ten bucks. Don't be like me!) It really bothers me when sellers try to pull a fast one on shoppers; you should get what you paid for — regardless of cost. Note: At the time of purchase, the seller was '975 Supply'. The current seller appears to have changed, so perhaps there's been an improvement. That said, I'd steer clear of other items sold by the above mentioned. ;) On a good note, I bought some Sharpies DIRECTLY from Amazon and I rate that a 5 star experience!
