Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

The only shortcoming of the otherwise great Galaxy S4 is a screen that cannot be viewed in direct sunlight, and even views poorly in a very bright outdoor environment. I bought these screen protectors with the thought that the matte finish would be helpful. Yes, there is a slight improvement, but not enough to make a difference in outdoor usage. On the other hand, as pointed out by others, the screen protector causes considerable degradation of the screen sharpness both indoors and outdoors. Unless another vendor/product can somehow reconcile what is likely two opposing problems -- sharpness vs. outdoor viewing -- I'll stick with a regular (gloss) screen protector. Updated: Tech Armor read my review and they voluntarily contacted me to offer a replacement. I accepted the offer and asked for their other product, the glossy screen protectors. After a bit of confusion about which product to be replaced, they shipped the "regular" glossy screen protectors. I commend Tech Armor for their genuine interest in their products and sincerity in their interest in their customers and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Just a small note about application of the screen protector. Both the cloth, but particularly the sticky pads for removing small debris from the screen before/at the time of application, are helpful products. You can use the sticky pads at the time of application. Here's how. As you slowly apply the screen, if a bubble appears, it will invariably surround a small bit of dirt on the screen. DON'T continue to lay down the screen. Stop -- and here's where dexterity or another pair of hands will help -- and pull back the screen protector just a bit and apply to sticky pad to both the screen and the protector in the likely area of the debris. Voila! It will effectively pick-up the small speck of dirt on the screen. This almost always is effective in allowing you to continue the application with complete success.
