Significant decrease in quality - Update
Update: After I posted my review (see below), VivoSun Customer Service emailed me offering a $10 refund. I responded that since the bags could not be moved by my wife & I lifting by 1 handle each they were useless to me and that I would have to discard them after this growing season. I requested either 5 replacement bags of the previous quality or a refund of my purchase price. VivoSun opted to refund my purchase price. Over the last 3 years, I have purchased 15 of the 15 gallon VivoSun tan fabric containers (3 purchases of packages of 5 containers each). I've used them to grow tomatoes, cucumbers, squashes, greens & herbs. The first 2 purchases (10 containers) have been in use for 2 or 3 planting cycles and have been very durable and easy to move around a patio to maximize sun exposure. Based on my experience with the first two orders, I have enthusiastically, highly recommend the containers to family & friends. Unfortunately, with my newest order in April 2020, there has been a significant drop in the quality of the product. Specifically, the handles on 1 of the 5 containers broke when I attempted to move it for the first time-approximately 60 days after being planted. See picture. I then examined the handles on the other 4 new containers and discovered that when I exerted any upward pressure on them (as in lifting off the ground) they started to rip and clearly would not allow the containers to be moved as designed. I then examined the 10 older containers and discovered the old container handles were of the same, heavy felt-like material as the container bodies while the new container handles were a much flimsier web or mesh-like material that was different than the container base. Why VivoSun would change the design of what was a very high quality product is beyond me. I'm going to order 5 more 15 or 20 gallon containers soon and will definitely be looking for a different brand unless or until VivoSun returns this product to its previous level of quality. In addition, the price for 5 15 gallon VivoSun tan fabric containers in April 2020 was around $24. Current price for same product around $38. Higher price, much, much lower quality. Buyer beware!
