This game was not for me. I played for about half an hour, asked myself "What is this game and why am I playing it?", then deleted from the console and put the disk back in the box. Graphics are generic and underwhelming, leaving a lot to be desired for "next gen." Uninspired story and game setting. The Wretch is just a human with no clothes? Many classes look the same and the character builder is drab, over-optioned, and unsatisfying. Game play is what you expect; slow, older style controls and fighting. While I did not care much for Demon Souls, at least the graphics and game environments drew me into the game. This just seems like an uninspired clone of Demon Souls with the same tired "hard" gameplay. I thought of maybe making another character, but the start of the game sequence was a drag. If you like Demon's Souls style games, you will probably like this. If you don't, there is certainly nothing here to make you a fan of this style of game. Bottom line is there are a lot better games out there; this does nothing well. Over-hyped, big studio money grab, nothing more.
