I ordered their mini flipper because I liked the one-piece design and high temp specs. Turned out to be a little thicker than ideal, but this is the norm with silicone flippers and I was OK with keeping it. Except that it developed a filmy whitish glaze after washing, an unappetizing result which rubbed off with some pressure. This suggested to me that the tool was exuding something or other rather than simply staining. Hey, guys, I use this for food! No unexplained chemical surprises, please. Wrote to them using the "contact us" tool on their site. Almost 2 weeks later, no answer. Tried sending an email, no answer so far. You know what really bothers me? When a company develops a pretty web presence, complete with cutesy prose and cute candid pix of the owners, all of this promoting a regular-guy, customer-sensitive image, and then treats its customer service obligations no better than Comcast does. So, the spatula may be OK (i.e., the white crud may be harmless) but I don't know and GIR doesn't seem to keen to enlighten me. But what I do know for sure is that they're either indifferent, hiding something or are in over their heads and can't handle customer questions in a timely fashion. In any case, I'm done with them.
