I was pretty excited to say the least about picking up a 16GB "Class 10" MicroSD Card for $17.00 bucks. However, after many years and hundreds of Amazon orders I finally got a bogus product. I bought this card for my Motorola Triumph phone and while transferring my files from my PC to the card I was averaging only 3 to 4 MB per second, LAME! This should have been around 9 or 10MB per second (hence, class 10). The funny thing is that the card says Class 10 right on it. I will NEVER order from this company again which I believe was KomputerBay. I'm still a fan of Amazon and don't blame them for the false advertising but I wanted to make anyone thinking of purchasing this card aware that the speeds are completely false.
And for those who don't know, the class speed is what makes the difference of how fast you copy files to and from your SD card. My desktop is a high end gaming system I built myself with plenty of power so I know it has nothing to do on my end. It's simply a junk card, I ran a speed test on it with "Crystal Disk Mark" which allows one to run benchmark tests on SD, USB Flash cards and other devices. CDM showed the same results as Windows 7 x64 which was an average of around 3MB which I'm guessing based on the various results makes this card a "Class 4". FYI... I'm a Software Engineer and general computer geek with many years of computer experience so I know what I'm talking about!
SO... BUYER BEWARE! THIS CARD IS NOT CLASS 10!
