The item description says that these are IPX7 waterproof, which means that they can be immersed in up to 1m of water. I tried to wear them while swimming laps yesterday, only to have them immediately short out when my head went just under the surface of the water. I bought these specifically because they were advertised to be waterproof, so I'm very disappointed to now have a pair of useless broken earbuds. UPDATE: The seller contacted me via email and offered me a refund, which I accepted. They then asked me to delete my review, which I will not do because the headphones were not waterproof as advertised when I ordered.
