We followed all of the directions on the box (including the 6 oz. of water to prevent hotspots). We set the roaster oven to 325F. (The bags say they are good until 400F or 20degrees below maximum for the roaster. Oven roaster max was 450F.) By the time the roaster preheated, the bag was melting in big holes on the sides (not at the edge where it touched the lid etc). So we immediately pulled the remainder of the bag out and began melted plastic removal. Needless to say this delayed our turkey preparation and increased our clean up time rather than saving it. I have used these roaster ovens for years. If this product did what it said, I think it would be a great investment. Since it doesn't, I won't be buying more. I did try to call the company before posting this review. I had to leave a message and no one has called me back yet.
