This is an update. I think many people like me posted a positive review too soon. This frame is beautiful... but terrible. I wish I had not wasted the money. I have some photos attached addressing the problems. The bed is basically breaking. Down the center of the frame are the support legs. There are about four or five of them. Two of them have come off. When I try to reattach them, the screws do not hold tight to the legs because the holes in the legs, for the screws, are basically just round circles with nothing for the screw to catch on. In addition, various parts of this bed seem uneven and lacking support. As you can see from the photos, we've resorted to piling books in those areas. We will also have to pile more books where the legs keep falling off. In addition, one other concern is the picture. I picked this frame so I could make my bed like the picture. However, the slates are horizontal and tucking in the bottom of the blankets is extremely difficult. There is a gap at the bottom, so the blankets fall straight through.
