These were warm slippers, however after wearing them for about 3 months, the sole was not strong enough to hold the foot in place, causing the sole to shift inward and the side of the slipper becomes the sole. While they were a Christmas gift in 2013, they were only worn indoors for 6 months out of each year. I am not hard on shoes and most of my shoes are bought for quality, lasting me for 5-10 years. These slippers should have lasted for much longer. The photos I have included show the inferior sole design. I will not buy Acorn brand products again. Pretty sure the lack of quality has a great deal to do with them being manufactured in China.
