I didn't expect a lot of security from this box but if I give it a hard kick it will burst open. Also the back hinges are just pins that are held in place by soft plastic tabs (see pic. the pic is with the lid closed in lockable position). There is a gap in the back that makes it easy to access the hinges and pull out the pins and open it even with a lock in place. The whole box is held together by plastic tabs, very weak. When I saw they have a metal clasp that can be locked I laughed. Why bother? I'm going to secure it as best I can with screws and metal brackets to make it a little stronger. It's overpriced for what it is.
