The first two episodes are incredibly slow, so of course, people will tell you to just power through them and (more importantly) not to read any reviews because OMG THERE'S A SURPRISE. Then the next episode is slow and... and the next one and... good lord, if this isn't hell, it's at least purgatory. Even "The Surprise" cannot alleviate the tedium of this methodical, obvious relationship autopsy. Watching this show is like being on a Greyhound bus, staring out the window, waiting for something interesting to happen, hoping you'll eventually get somewhere... ... but then it's just more sitting on the bus, being forced to listen to someone who has nothing to say. If you're in a "relationship" where someone is making you watch this show, I'm so sorry. Maybe you could read a book on your phone. Maybe you could make an excuse and go out for a walk. Maybe you really should get up and leave, because you'll eventually want to die, or at least hope that your spirit will rise up out of your body and leave. This must be what football is like for people who hate football. People who tell you to keep watching a boring show because "no, really, it gets better, and there's a TWIST" are the worst. No Spoilers: There is *literally* a scene about the excitement of turning on a light switch, and that's a high point. The word "mundane" has two meanings: 1) lacking interest or excitement; dull and 2) of this earthly world rather than a heavenly or spiritual one. 'Forever' is not only dull, but also, it remains trapped in this earthly world, where you will pray for the sweet release of death, but to no avail. No, not even death can save you. Your tormented spirit will linger, at least until you turn off this dreadful show. Wait, here's a better simile: 'Forever' is like being beaten with a hammer over and over again. Walk away while you still can, because this show really does feel like it lasts forever. Don't walk. Just run away. Say no to hammers. You've been warned. TL;DR boring af
