False advertising
The bin is supposed to be 18 x 12 x 6 but actually it's internal size is 15 and 1/2 by 9 and 1/2 by 5 and 3/4 so yes the lip is 18 x 12 x 6 but not the bin. Be warned because what you think might fit won't
