I bought this mattress topper in August 2014 to improve a dormitory-issued mattress. It was great, very comfortable. I kept it very clean, never spilled any liquids on it, and aired it out every three months. It got some nicks, but still very comfortable. So I was utterly horrified when I flipped it over in late April 2016 and discovered MOLD growing on the underside! But since the three-year warranty covers regular use, I thought it would be replaced with a new one. I provided proof of purchase, pictures of the mold (which showed no water stains because I never spilled any liquid on it), and the warranty. The warranty says it covers any defects or problems from REGULAR USE of the mattress topper. Lucid then DENIED my claim because they said a waterproof bag is required for the warranty to be valid! They lied. That is not written or implied anywhere on the warranty. You can see the pictures of the mold attached. Before the awful customer service, I thought the mold was random bad luck and I wanted to simply replace the topper with a new Lucid product, but now I will NEVER purchase from this company again.
