The star rating is slightly misleading. I ordered this item twice within the span of 4 days, so please hear me out. I love the first one (5 stars!), but hate the second one which is obviously a knock off, and not a very good one. The first one I ordered is amazing. It is VERY comfortable, the gel offers just the right amount of support, and it was a perfect height and length. It looked exactly as described. I loved it so much I ordered a second one the same day I received the first one (2 days after the first order). I just received the second one today... and it's not even the same product. The first came in a 3M box with the description, etc, and also had an identifying number for it underneath. This second one came in a clear, thin plastic bag tied on the ends like a tootsie roll. The second one is very fake vinyl-ish leather, STAPLED BADLY to a piece of CARDBOARD I'm not even joking - staples are sticking OUT of the cardboard. The staples aren't even placed in the product regularly, some overlapping. The second one also is about an inch higher, and it's not comfortable at all typing with it because I basically have to stick my elbows in the air if my wrists on it. It's also filled with a type of foam, not gel. The original product has a rubbery bottom that grips well to a desk surface without being adhesive. This second one has two pieces of 1"x1" torn adhesive stuck on the two ends. It's very easy to tell it was torn since the ends are irregular. I'm posting pictures of both the original and the second one that I received. I'm a very unhappy customer, and I've already contacted Amazon's customer service. Both were ordered within 48 hours of each other, and both were sold by Amazon.com LLC. Customer service said that they receive items directly from the manufacturer, but is sending me another one in 2 days, and I REALLY hope it's the actual product. This is the very first time I've received a bad product when Amazon was the seller, and I'm kind of in shock.
