As I start to take interest in learning about our country of my own volition for the first time, I was excited to get a hard copy of the Constitution and related documents to read. And when I got it, I saw the very first page was a disclaimer discounting the founding documents. I understand putting this disclaimer in front of some works of fiction. I do not understand putting it in front of our founding legal documents, especially given the way we as a nation continued to amend it over time. I am unhappy with this addition and I would not recommend purchasing this particular copy.
