This product has most everything one expects of Bose: good design, good quality, high price, etc. I had no problem getting it to fit; it was comfortable for me. All of this got it an extra star. These work great if you want to hear sleep sounds and not bother anyone else. The reason for the low score, and the fact that I have return it for refund, is it does not work to mask snoring--which is the prime reason I bought it. I could get it to almost work by using at full volume, but this was hard on my ears. The earbuds themselves do not isolate enough of the external sound to make the masking practical. Another problematic feature is that you can only turn them on with your smartphone. I have no problem with doing the programming that way. The app works fine. But, I make a conscious effort to leave my smartphone out of the bedroom at night. It would be nice, and I imagine not too hard, to have an "always on" setting so that they were working whenever they were out of their case, connected to a smartphone or not. That, however, would not make the product good enough for me to buy. Perhaps the technology it not possible, but it would be great if they could add their active noise reduction technology to the masking. I'd pay an extra $100 for that.
