I would not recommend this product due to the complete lack of support from the manufacturer. I had this insert installed by a certified HVAC professional who hooked it up to my natural gas line. When he lit the pilot for the first time, a metal piece blew off the back of the pilot creating a gas leak and extra flame. Obviously not a good situation. All the written materials with the insert state to contact Factory Buys Direct before contacting the seller if there are any issues. So I called, and called and called and called only to be left on hold. No one picks up the phone. So I sent an email, then another and another. Bottom line, I have this insert installed in my house that cannot be used and the manufacturer does not seem to care. It could be a great product if the defective part was addressed but I cannot say because they are not addressing it. Avoid this product and anything else from Duluth Forge/Factory Buys Direct. Update 3/21/2019: A few hours after I posted my negative review I received an email from Branden, a rep for the manufacture, who stated he needed proof of purchase in order to help. I emailed a copy of my invoice, 2 days again. Still waiting for follow-up.
