The cord on this unit is 12 (yes twelve) inches long! I cannot reach any of my outlets with this cord because you need a little room as well to angle the plug. This is insane. It makes the unit unuseable in an ordinary kitchen. Who has a plug available within eight inches of where they want to work with this machine? Incomprehensible design. Tried to reach customer service..no luck had to leave request for callback. What kind of incompetence is this? Looks like it goes back. Well..here's an update..I didn't send it back but I didn't use it for quite a while. I bought this for bread dough primarily. I mostly chop and slice things with a knife. My favorite bread dough is a four cup of flour dough with enhancements, sometimes seeds, sometimes 7 grain cereal, sometimes nothing
