We bought this for my itchy boy who suffers from dermatitis caused by allergies. We thought an oatmeal bath would help his skin. The WAHL shampoo is a little stinky, but I liked the way it lathered and rinsed clean. Afterward, my dog was silky smooth, I thought we had found our brand. But then the extreme itching started. While the shampoo might be anti-itch, it IS NOT HYPOALLERGENIC. My dog broke out in a rash and could not be soothed until I could throw him in the tub to wash off whatever residue was attacking him. If your pup has allergies, this is NOT the shampoo for you.
