I have use a lot of different purple shampoos/conditioners. I have limited success with many of them (Clairol, Bed Head, Fanola, etc). All have done little on reducing my brass and were all very drying. I don't want to dry out my hair for no reason (well, I don't want to dry out my hair anyway). Now, this is not shampoo or condition but a masque. However, I use it about once a week, leave it in my hair for 7 minutes and it is amazing!!! I did a lot of reading on this product and depending on your hair, to have it work varies based on you. At first I only left it on 3 minutes and saw no difference but that does not mean the product does not work, it means we are all very different and you will have to be willing to experiment a little to find out what might work for your hair. I went up a few minutes each use until I saw how it worked on my hair. It cools out the brass and keeps my blonde, blonde! The best part is it does not dry out my hair at all!!! I bought again recently (3rd purchase) but please be careful of what seller you purchase from. I received my 3 bottle and what usually takes a few months to use, my bottle is almost empty after 2 uses. I know that this is an issue with amazon (to be careful of sellers) and I should know better. Sad is there is no real recourse. My suggestion is to go straight to Pravana and bypass amazon and the sellers they allow to utilize their platform.
