It's upsetting because i wanted to like this book. I even made sure to read it from cover to cover so as not to be biased, but when you don't even have ANY original plot points i lose all respect. The best way i can describe this book is a very crass rip-off of 3 other prominent Russian Authors in the LitRPG genre. I can even point it all out to you plot point for plot point.
Being stuck at a '0' level locked account because you're on a working contract? Getting stuck with a unique race and exploiting it while having to work in the mines and finding an alternate solution to getting out of it because you're new to being in any kind of game and having to find your way around. Literally point for point from A.Osadchuk's 'Mirror World'.
Using the specific crafting skills and work agreements with players/npc's is directly from V.Mahanenko's 'Way of the Shaman' the author didn't even try to find their own path an directly copied the Jewler trope.
Last is the direct character development and abilities taken from D.Rus' 'Play to Live' series where he finds the OP pet an goes HAM then loses it. I guess this irked me less than the other 2 authors plagiarized works because the author actually references 'Play to Live' in their Afterword.
It's like the author tried to be obnoxious about the 'noobism' which was WAAAAYYY overdone imo, just so you would forget they didn't actually have any original concepts themselves. The icing on the cake is that for those 3 other Russian authors i mentioned, they have their works on kindle unlimited so you can read for free to verify everything i'm telling you, whereas the ENTIRELY plagiarized work will cost you cash, wtf?
