This is a “trying” replica of what’s on Etsy by “bluestarcraftsmax” for $239. What do you think you are buying for $27, is not what’s in the stolen photos from Etsy. In fact, you can buy this “trying” replica for $2 cheaper on Amazon. That seller photos is what you will be getting in their photos on Amazon. That’s If it is not the same seller to this writers box. Problems with this box: 1. This isn’t walnut as it’s described; try balsa wood. 2. The strap isn’t leather; it’s polyurethane. 3. The polyurethane strap isn’t long enough, or adjustable, to make the strap longer as shown in stolen photo. 4. No brass anywhere; it’s just antique cheap metal. 5. You get to glue, yourself, the bar on top of the wood box to hold your paper while you write. (Look at that!!! You get to DIY the thing!) 6. It’s missing the wood bar for the inside behind the lock, to keep it up at the 30° to write on the lid. 7. It’s missing the strap on the inside of the box to keep it from opening all the way when you wear the writers box. However, with this “trying” replica writers box I will, on my Instagram, be fixing it up to make it useable and nice. (I already bought the parts on Etsy to make this happen. We might see why the Etsy box is $239… but this wood is still incorrect. So… the price point might be a bit off still.) If you were looking for a cheap box you want to fix up (“DIY, it”). Buy this. It’s pretty much like buying a unfinished wood box you would buy on Amazon for the same, or less, amount of money. If you are buying it so you don’t have to remake; Don’t buy it. Save your cash and buy the real thing on Etsy for $239.
