This is the most horrible product I have ever bought on Amazon. The screen froze one night on an image of baby sleeping peacefully. My husband woke up to go to work, and after stepping out of our bedroom, came right back in and said, “The baby is crying.” I said,”No, look, she’s asleep.” He said,”I definitely hear her.” Needless to say, as soon as I stepped out of the bedroom, I heard that she was crying her eyes out. No telling for how long. I am disgusted, horrified, upset, any other emotion you can imagine after waking to realize I have no idea how long my baby was crying before I got to her. I have only had this thing for three months. It worked pretty good up until this point. Occasionally it would be beep and the screen would go blank and say that I had lost connection (which is actually a good feature in my opinion, so you can wake to adjust it), but that is not what happened tonight. The image on the screen is of my baby asleep. No noise is coming from her room (through the monitor that is). It is frozen, and won’t even turn off so I can’t see if it will reset—not that I would ever trust it again. DON’T BUY THIS HORRIBLE, DANGEROUS PRODUCT!!!!!
