This book is a political ploy to persuade the casual observer. We educated Americans are not in the least fooled by articulate prose, literary genius or millenial propaganda. I have voted Democrat, Republican, and Indepedent, so I am not loyal to ANY political party; however this book is written by a man who hates the current administration. He made NOT ONE positive comment on any accomplishments of the Trump administration. That's called bias if you wonder. The book was 8-10 testimonials of members of Obama's administration/cabinet who were not fond of the new guard. Their opinions were very clear and coincided with the opinions of the author. It is written as an informative, but the political perspectives is what this book declares. Frankly no President has ever been President when he first got elected. I always give a first time President the benefit of the doubt, and I pray hard for our leaders. We should pray earnestly for our government that they will use wisdom and prudence in governing this country. No advice in the book was given as to how to transition a Presidency--by the way Michael Lewis has never been president of the United States. I wasted my money purchasing this book and it told me absolutely nothing that would help this country, me, my family, my businesses, my taxes, gas prices, my health insurance premiums, etc. Trump is NOT perfect, but who is? Not one of our presidents was perfect and not one of our presidents' transitions was perfect. If you like to accentuate our leaders' negatives--this book is for you. If you want some ammunition for debate AGAINST the Trump Administration, this book is for you. If you want to find reasons to hate YOUR president, this book is for you. Don't waste your money on this political ploy of a book disguised as informative dialect. Wasted trees. It get 0 stars out of 5 from me.
