BEAWARE: This product may cause side effect similar to MSG allergy symptoms
Worried it might effect my sleep I only take 2 tablespoon in the morning. First time I mixed it with only water and its got a funky taste to it and hard to drink along. Mixing with orange juice helped. After a few days I felt no energy and when I exercise at the gym, I can barely do anything. Not only physically I couldn't function, mentally I was foggy as well. I thought I was getting sick until stopped taking it... All of the sudden I can think clear again and have energy. After a couple of days I try taking this again and same thing happen - no energy and foggy mind. So I stopped taking it.
Many reviewer mentioned this gelatin contains glutamic acid which will effect people who are sensitive to MSG. I am not super sensitive to MSG unless it is in large quantity. If this gelatin effects me, it contains a high amount... I search online and Great Lakes' Gelatin contains 11.4% of glutamic acid. As a responsible company, they should put a warning on the product page as well as on the bottle to let people know what the possible "side effect" would be.
Because of the time it took for me to figure out I am actually allergic to this product, it has passed the 30 days and I can no longer return this. This really sucks.
