Don't believe the hype!
I really had high hopes for this screen protector but subpar materials and total lack of customer service has left me high and dry. First off this is not a complaint regarding the installation of the screen. While certainly more complicated than other screen protector applications, if you take your time and review the steps prior you shouldn't have a problem. I was able to install mine without issue. My issue is that the screen protector developed a small chip on the side within the first 3 days of purchase. Now I keep my phone in my pocket all by itself. No keys, wallet or change. It gets its own, empty home. I also baby all my phones, ESPECIALLY since the S9+ was less than a week old at the time of this purchase. So you can imagine that I was pretty bummed to discover that my $45 screen protector was chipped when I pulled in out of my pocket! Since this is a glass screen, once it chips the edges become very sharp and basically renders the protection useless. No problem though - they advertise a lifetime warranty. Yeah right! Lets walk through their process. - Once you get a hold of them (pro tip: Don't go through their website, they don't respond. Message them through Amazon) you have to send them pictures of the issue. That's to be expected so no biggie. - Assuming that they approve it, they want you to ship back everything to them, packaging, applicators and all (oh you didn't save everything after you installed it?). All on your dime of course. - Next they want an additional $15.38 to send you a replacement kit. Hope you saved the UV light because that is not included. They don't budge on the cost either and put the blame on "higher ups". Don't waste your money on this overpriced screen protector. I have been a long time customer of Zagg due to their quality products and easy warranty replacement but decided to give this company a shot. I should have stuck with Zagg. TL;DR - Materials and warranty are trash. Customer service is missing the "service". I'm out $45 for a screen protector that lasted 3 days but they are happy to take another $15 to send me a new one. $60 total not counting taxes or back and forth shipping.
