Your better of getting a light that puts out at least 300 watts. You get what you pay for.
Most reviews are by inexperienced kids. I have grown for over 30 years. This is made with low quality materials. Cardboard sides, not metal, no cooling fan, no on/off switch. You want metal construction with cooling fans. Hopefully 2 in case 1 burns out. It may be 45 watts but it has to be within 6 inches to get useful wavelength. Most lights have embellished specs. For every 6 inches of distance a ton off useful wavelength is lost. The bottom branches get close to 0 light emissions. I would recommend this as a supplemental unit for the sides. Spend more to get more and don't believe everything you read on the Internet. This is good for seedlings because it puts out low temperature heat.
