The photos here and on the products box dishonest. The cord is not depicted in the pictures, but it protrudes out of the front dial area of the fan.The manufacturer, obviously realizing the cord is unsightly, must have photoshopped it out. Dishonest. I've included a photo here so you can see what it really looks like. The fan creates a nice breeze but I wouldn't say it is extraordinary. The fan and its housing are plastic.
