I was expecting this to be the perfect choice (especially with the high reviews) and it was poorly made and coming apart!! As soon as I received it - I removed it from the package and washed it following the washing instructions on the label. Washed on warm water and dried on low heat. I was very careful to follow the instructions. I can not stress this enough!!! Went to place it on the newly purchased mattress and was so happy it arrived while my daughter was at grandma's and would be put back together before she arrived home. Pulled the corners in a normal fashion and heard a fabric pulling noise. I looked at the seam where the terry cloth and sides meet and noticed holes. I thought well, maybe it was just in that spot? I checked it all around in random spots and the same thing happened. Also, I need to clarify it is a queen size mattress pad fitting a queen size mattress. It fit nicely is the only positive thing I can say. I'm in shock that it was already falling apart! I am returning this product to Amazon and hoping I can find something local. We live in a rural area and do not have many choices. Shame on you Amazon. I can't be the only one this has happened to.
