K let me just start off saying I have NEVER given a one star rating but I seriously don't know what I just read. There were many times when I thought, "why am I still reading?" "Just put the book down!" "Seriously! Did that seriously just happen?!" "WHY am I still reading this?" (But I'm a glutton for punishment and think it's against the reading Gods to not finish a book). SPOILER ALERT in my review! So Liv and Xander hook up at a wedding, hot right?! Well I should have stopped there because it went down hill at an accelerated speed. Liv leaves before he wakes up in the morning and because they didn't exchange names she doesn't hear from him or see him until he is sitting on her parent's couch. Liv is there for her sister's big announcement. What's her announcement? That she is engaged to.... wait for it... Xander! Crazy right? Well he seems like a D-Bag because he is still trying to get in Liv's pants after the announcement THAT HE IS ENGAGED TO HER SISTER and SHE IS LETTING HIM! I don't care how much you fight with your sister, there is NO WAY you would mess around with her fiancé. He says over and over again, it's a business transaction and he is not in love and even though he can't forget Liv he can't break the engagement off. Well smart guy if you can't live without Liv ( or her goodies) break it off with her sister and be with Liv. But no that makes too much sense. It's not even that he was flip-flopping but he was a jerk about it saying Liv was a mistake then a minute later he would turn around and grope her then back to I'm getting married deal with it. It's just was not a practical book. They spent a lot of time with Liv's siblings and parents and how no one knew Liv and Xander were messing around is beyond me, especially when they are rounding 2nd base at the breakfast table... Really? If you get this one as a freebie then give it a whirl but don't complain when you think, "what am I reading?!" I'm really disappointed because I have loved other books from this author but this book was not good and I'm smacking my forehead with the time I wasted reading it.
