If you're looking for 100% chemical-free makeup removal, I'd look elsewhere.. on actual makeup removal I'd give it 2 stars, on being stain-free I'd give it four. I don't wear crazy heavy makeup, but this works no better than your average face cloth, it's just *slightly* softer. I do find it works a little better when you're in the shower (probably because the shower steam is helping). In the attached picture, first box is my end of the day makeup. The second box is after quite a bit of scrubbing with the 'wonder cloth' -- third box I used a chemical makeup remover cloth on my right eye (left side of the picture), and the last image is what said chemical-wipe removed AFTER the wonder cloth... 2 stars because it's marketed as makeup removal, but it's more of a makeup smudger..
