Bought this to sit in the back of my truck. The only times I used it it was a non emergency for the lawn tractor, bike tires etc. The first time I REALLY needed it I was in northern New Hampshire deep in the woods on a hunting trip. My dad was behind me and beeps "you got a flat tire in your truck." No problem I get the jack under the truck quick to keep it from going to the rim and get a tire plug in the tire. I was remarking to my dad as I pull out my Viair 88 that I was glad to have this pump instead of the cheap Campbell Hausfeld $10 walmart version it replaced. The LED comes on but nothing from the pump. I tried it on numerous vehicles, all with good batteries. Fuse is good, I even tried bypassing the switch because I was 30 miles from anything. Nothing. I called Viair and they agreed to take it back so I ship it UPS for $20 to them. A month goes by and they call and said they found nothing wrong works great. OK weird. As soon as it comes back I hook it up to my Tundra with running engine. Nothing. Try my wife's SUV, nothing. Tried my winch battery, nothing. Tried it on my lab 12v power supply, nothing. Exactly the same way I sent it to them. Fuse is good, LED comes on, pump doesn't work. I'm done with this thing, can't trust it, not sending it back for another $20. I'll just buy another $10 walmart junker, at least those work. I even made a video to show them how I hooked it up and it wasn't working [...]
