I have an older tick key that I loved. It came to a fine point that would grab deer ticks and pull them right out. When I ordered a second one recently it showed up and has a very wide opening that won't grab anything. I thought this was a manufacturing defect and requested an exchange but when the replacement arrived it was exactly the same. I don't know if this is a design change or, poor quality control, or knock offs being sold but I have to switch to a different tool because this is useless as it is now.
