I bought this product for our son to provide a softer play area than our wood floor, but when he started chewing on the pieces and putting them in his mouth I did some research to confirm that it was safe. When researching EVA foam I found countless articles about how it contains Formamide which is an industrial chemical carcinogen that is especially toxic.
