The Shadow in name only
This is *NOT* The Shadow. This is a set-up vehicle for an entirely new character in some vaguely defined dystopian future. It started off decently enough with some good action in the 1930s and then things went off the rails with plot holes you could drive a truck though and an absolutely bizarre plot device involving an inheritance. If you are a fan of the pulp, old-time radio, or even the movie version of the character, stay far, far away from this. It's not a novel - it's a character assassination.
